Michael Caddy was an officer in the NYPD for six years, stationed in the 121st precinct. He was also a youth instructor for the Too Good for Drugs program, and handled cases of domestic violence.

On June 14th, 2019, at the age of 29, he was found deceased. He died in the same manner as Steven Silks, the first NYPD suicide in 2019, with a gunshot to the head, sitting in a car.

Michael was found deceased in his car on Wilcox Street, in New York (map), by a fellow officer. His death marks the 6th NYPD suicide in 2019.

Due to his focus on domestic violence and helping children, he was probably aware of the contents of the Anthony Weiner laptop.
